These terms cover your use of the Kreviax website and its free image tools. Using the site means you accept them.
Kreviax offers browser-based image tools — compression, resizing, format conversion and metadata removal — provided free of charge, as is, for your own lawful use. All processing happens in your browser; Kreviax does not receive, store or process your image files on a server.
The tools use standard browser image APIs and sensible defaults, but output is not guaranteed to be perfect for every image or every purpose. Compression is a trade-off, resizing may crop, and format conversion can change how an image looks. Metadata removal re-encodes the file to drop common embedded data but is not forensic-grade sanitisation. Always review the result before you rely on it, and for sensitive cases verify it with a dedicated tool.
Because everything runs on your device, results depend on your browser and hardware. Very large images may fail to process on a memory-constrained device, and some features (such as creating WebP files) depend on browser support. The tools will tell you when something is not possible rather than produce a broken file.
Where a tool or guide refers to a platform’s dimensions or upload limits — YouTube’s thumbnail size, for example — those figures reflect the relevant platform’s published guidance at the time of writing. Platforms change their requirements without notice. Kreviax helps you produce a correctly sized file; it cannot guarantee a third-party platform will accept any given upload.
Do not:
The daily usage limit is a fair-use measure. Trying to defeat it programmatically is a breach of these terms even though the limit is not strictly enforced.
The Kreviax name, logo, site design and tool code belong to Kreviax. You keep all rights in the images you process — Kreviax claims no ownership of your content and, since your files never reach a server, has no access to it. You may use the images you create with the tools however your own rights allow.
Kreviax is provided without any guarantee of uptime, and features may change or be removed. The site may be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. As the tools run in your browser, a page you have already loaded generally keeps working even if the site is briefly unreachable.
Kreviax is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kreviax and anyone associated with it will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or the tools — including loss of data or of an original file you did not keep a copy of.
These terms may be updated. The “last updated” date above will change when they do, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
